Football in the town of Ozark is a tradition and all summer long Hillbilly fans count the days down for it. The Hillbillies are coming off a 3-7 season and are looking to improve this season and possibly clinch a playoff spot. A difficult schedule awaits the Hillbillies for the 2016 season. Ozark has the potential to be a very solid team and improvement will be a big part of the equation during the course of the season. The Ozark offense will be working out of the spread this season. The Hillbillies have some interesting pieces that could have a strong season. Ozark fans should look for Colt Milsap at the receiver position to add a big play threat to the offense. Milsap could be huge for an offense that needs a big play threat that can stretch the field. If Ozark can find some consistency in the offense and sustain drives, this could turn into a dangerous team in the 4-4A Conference. Ozark’s defense has 7 starters returning for the 2016 season. The Ozark defense had strong moments last season and are looking to build on those moments from last season. The secondary for the Hillbillies could turn into one of the more solid units for the Ozark football team. Ryan Bramucci has the speed to be a cornerback that opposing quarterbacks will want to avoid. Ozark will be counting on its defense to force turnovers and get defensive stops. The defense will be key for Ozark to improve upon last season. Ozark fans should look for improvement on both sides of the ball this season. The Hillbillies have more weapons to use and will be dangerous for opposing defenses. If the Ozark offense can become more consistent, then a playoff spot could be a strong possibility this season.
