The Mustangs defeated Ripon High School today by a score of 9-1. Kahleem Johnson was the player of the game for the Mustangs by going 3-4 at the plate with 2 singles and a double. Johnson plated three RBI's and played stellar defense at 1B. Mustangs ace Julian Sainz was sensational on the mound. Sainz threw a complete game, holding the Indians to one earned run, walking four, and striking out 13. The Mustangs stand alone in second place in TVL play with a 7-2 league record. They trail 1st place Escalon by one game and the two teams meet next Friday in Escalon.
