Hutchinson High and Buhler will both be represented at the state bowling meet, which starts today at North Rock Lanes in Wichita and concludes Friday at North Rock Lanes. Today, Class 5-4-3-2-1A will compete at North Rock Lanes. The Buhler girls will send Karson Nisly, who was one of six individuals to qualify from the Great Bend regional. Great Bend and McPherson qualified both their boys and girls teams for state. The 5-4-3-2-1A girls meet will start at 9:30 a.m., and the boys will begin at 2 p.m. The Class 6A meet will be Friday, and the Hutchinson boys qualified one individual as well. Jon Hornbaker finished seventh at the Maize regional with a 647 series. The Garden City boys also qualified for state. The 6A girls meet will start with the girls at 9:30 a.m., and the boys will start at 2 p.m.
