On Thursday, the Lady Indians played a home game against Delta High School. The game resulted in a 3-2 defeat for the Lady Indians. In the first half, the Lady Indian’s Maleah Grines scored her first goal of the season, putting the Indians ahead 1-0. Soon after, Delta would respond with a break away goal, tying the game. Delta would add another goal late in the first half by a corner kick. Half way through the 2nd half, Alandis Hill was fouled outside the goal box, giving the Lady Indians a free kick. Maleah Grines would add her second goal of the day on the kick, tying the game at 2-2. Despite having an overall fantastic game with 18 saves, Delta squeaked a late goal past the Anderson goalie, Lexi Fairer, giving Delta the lead 3-2.
