ANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS VARSITY SOCCER FALLS TO WAPAHANI HIGH SCHOOL 5-1
On Monday night, the Anderson Lady Indians played an away game against Wapahani High School. The game ended in a 5-1 defeat for the Lady Indians.
In the first half, Wapahani jumped out to a 2-0 lead, but early in the second half, Anderson’s Alandis Hill gave the Lady Indians momentum by adding a goal. Unfortunately, soon after lowering the deficit, the Lady Indians center back, Maria Medina, injured her ankle, taking her out of the game. The Indians were unable to overcome her loss, and Wapahani added 3 goals over the last 20 minutes of play.
